Adaptation to Climate Change


The Alaskans Sharing Indigenous Knowledge (AKSIK.org) project - a science and advocacy project documenting the impacts of climate change in two Native communities in Alaska and communicating their adaptation needs - now has a new film  on its website.

The new video entitled Stay and Defend is the debut film by David Smith and documents how this village of 250 people is struggling to build a protective berm to guard against increasingly severe storms.  You can view the film at:
