As we moves close to the June World Earth Summit, the words that sum up all the planning and hopes of this event is SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the PRESENT while protecting the HEALTH OF THE PLANET and the interests of FUTURE GENERATIONS.
The Green Economy must be understood not as an end in itself, but as a way of creating or strengthening the means or instruments for moving faster towards a more sustainable pattern of development in the future.
